Danielle Kettlewell wasn’t an Olympian, or so she thought.
There was a huge barrier that stood in the way of her competing for Australia in the world’s largest sporting event, and it wasn’t her fitness, ability or money: it was Danielle Kettlewell.
In her book, ‘The Unlikely Olympian’ Danielle reveals how the little voice inside her head whispering ‘what if…’ was her savior, the two-letter catalyst that pushed her to go through the process of trialing for the Games. While for many the dedication and commitment to training would take its toll, Danielle also had to juggle her inner emotions. Self-doubt, a lack of confidence and fear were her enemies but, as she grew physically stronger through training and exercise, she also developed mental processes that challenged her thought patterns and self-doubts. Dreams became a possibility…
A very inspiring and thoughtful read!
Danielle's book is a thoroughly enjoyable read. She shares a lot about her experiences and thoughts behind her journey to the 2016 Rio Olympics, and how shifting her mindset really set her up for success. It's refreshing to read not only about her highlights along her Olympic journey, but also her reflections on the experiences along the way that were not so enjoyable. Danielle lays it out so the reader can reflect and shift their own negative mindsets that may exist. Would recommend!

One of the best I have read in a long time
Danielles' book is full of inspiration and is based on her own experiences. It is written in a very down to earth manner and is full of emotion and sincerity. It is living testament to putting aside your own disbelief and replacing this with I can, I will, and putting in place those actions that will enable you to achieve your goals.
The book is one of the best that I have read in a long time and is a credit to Danielle and the publishing team behind her. It is a Must Have book in your library.

Attitude, mindset, affirmations, mantras
Cydney O' Sullivan of Celebrity Book Club recommended this book to me as of interest. It certainly was! I enjoyed reading about Danielle's transformational journey to an Olympian.
As a Success Coach I knew and understood the processes she employed to get there - attitude, mindset, affirmations, mantras, and more which she cleverly reinforces throughout the book.
What made the refreshing difference was her weaving in of her own story of resilience in the face of adversity and how she won through. Well Done! Danielle Kettlewell. Recommended for everyone who has a BIG Dream inside them and continues to give into their fears and self-sabotage! Take note. This could book could help you work your way out of that spiral!
